Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company during deliveries and pickups. The role follows a Mon–Fri schedule with overtime potential, emphasizing reliability and punctuality.

You will load the truck, inspect the vehicle, collect payments as needed, verify shipments, and maintain a professional appearance while on the road. Starting pay is $20.00–$24.00/hr with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ and valid driver license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify contents of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
