Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking Delivery Route Driver for full-time employment in New York. The role requires loading, delivering and stocking products, and maintaining truck refrigeration as you service client locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
• CDL not required.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with product promotion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food in the truck.
• Deliver products to vending attendants at client sites.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Maintain positive communication with team members and customers.
• Care for the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver, Full-time.

The pay for this position is: $16/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
