Job summary

AVI Foodsystems seeks a friendly Delivery Route Driver in Lafayette, IN for a full-time, Monday–Friday 1st shift role. You will load the truck, transport products to client locations, and ensure proper refrigeration and on-time deliveries.

You’ll interact with vending attendants and AVI team members, maintain vehicle care, and uphold safety while promoting products. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be at least 21, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:
