Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Delivery Route Driver for a full-time role in Tampa, FL with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 5am start. You will load the vehicle, deliver to client locations, and ensure refrigeration of perishable items while maintaining a positive interaction with customers and AVI team members.

The role emphasizes independence, strong time management, and the ability to promote products within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL not required and clean driving record.
• Willing to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Eligible for full-time benefits and compensation.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Maintain refrigeration of cold products in the truck.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver, Full-time in Tampa, FL. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, start time at 5am.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
