Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is hiring a Delivery Route Driver in Ohio. This full-time role focuses on transporting and delivering food products to client locations, ensuring proper loading, refrigeration, and paperwork handoff.

A positive attitude and reliable work ethic are essential. Requirements include a non-CDL license, good driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to pass the DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver. This is a full-time position.

The rate for this position is $18/hr.
