Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Norcross, GA is seeking a Delivery Route Driver for a full-time role, Monday–Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m. until the route is finished.

You will load, drive, and refrigerate products, delivering to client locations and collecting paperwork from vending attendants. The role requires an outgoing personality, strong time management, and the ability to work independently while promoting products and maintaining vehicle care.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license; a CDL is NOT required and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to transport products and food to client locations.
• Maintain refrigeration of all cold food in the truck.
• Deliver to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with team members and customers.
• Care for the company vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
