Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Delivery Route Driver in Lexington, KY. You will load the truck, drive to locations, and ensure cold storage and proper delivery of products while maintaining paperwork with vending attendants.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is loaded with all products needed for service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
