Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Labor and Delivery Technician to support obstetric care. You will perform patient care, assist with delivery room procedures, and help organize the environment and equipment to ensure safety and comfort for patients.

The role includes 1:1 duties on all units and PCA duties on other units as needed, with preferred experience in a Labor and Delivery setting and acute care environments.

Qualifications

• Trade school surgical technician program or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year experience as Labor and Delivery Technician preferred.
• 1 year experience in acute care and OR surgical scrub preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with delivery room procedures in the obstetric department.
• Maintain environment, equipment, and assist with 1:1 and PCA duties as needed.
