Job summary

Incredible Health in Rome, GA is hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) for night shifts on a hospital team. The RN will provide care to laboring mothers, coordinate with obstetricians, and ensure patient safety and comfort through delivery and postpartum periods.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1+ years in L&D or related fields, and BLS/ACLS certifications. EHR proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from an accredited program
• 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications obtained
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork with physicians/nurses
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and standard L&D equipment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers with obstetric team
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, fetal heart rates; intervene as needed
• Administer medications and epidurals as prescribed; manage IV fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families
• Document patient status and treatment outcomes per guidelines
