Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a professional Driver to deliver and pick up products across routes, maintaining timely and courteous service. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate logs, and adherence to company procedures.

The ideal candidate will lift up to 50 pounds, possess a valid license, and be able to obtain DOT certification as required. A propane forklift background is strongly preferred, with solid math and PC skills to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift/pull a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Previous propane forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills; mechanical aptitude.
• Strong math skills and PC literacy; multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to various addresses on schedule and via different routes.
• Load and unload goods; maintain truck and work area in a clean state.
• Perform routine truck checks (tires, oil, fuel) before delivery.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards; maintain credentials as applicable.
• Record daily delivery/pickup logs; communicate customer info to Supervisor.
• Meet goals and objectives in a timely, professional manner.
• Notify Supervisor about truck issues and ensure corrective actions.
