Job summary

Mazzella is hiring a Driver in Longview, TX to deliver and pick up products across multiple routes in a timely, safe and courteous manner. You will perform pre-trip and routine checks, load and unload items, maintain daily delivery logs, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
• Valid current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Previous experience operating propane powered forklift strongly preferred.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills required.
• Excellent math skills and PC literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of products to different addresses and routes.
• Follow route and time schedule.
• Perform routine truck checks (tire pressure, oil levels, fuel, etc.).
• Load trucks according to company specs and unload goods as per customer specs.
• Follow maintenance schedule and inform supervisor of issues.
• Maintain clean truck and delivery logs.
• Arrive on time to work, meetings and appointments.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
