Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to manage maintenance activities from Flightline to delivery, acting as technical focal point for open items, and ensuring proper work instructions, documentation, and QA throughout the delivery process.

The role requires collaboration with Flight Line, Quality teams, and European sites, with travel up to <5% domestic/international. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus relevant Airbus experience or extensive industry background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3 years Airbus experience or 5+ years in industry
• A&P license is preferred
• Knowledge of AMM, drawings and manufacturing engineering concepts

Responsibilities

• Handle anomalies within assigned areas and create work instructions for flight line rework
• Provide technical support to Flight Line technicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Coordinate with European colleagues on repeat or complex issues and support audits
