Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Certification Engineer to handle airworthiness tasks for Customer Service products and Airbus Delivery Center activities. You will manage certification for single-aisle programs, in-service repairs, and upgrades, coordinating with global authorities and internal teams.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in Engineering or Airworthiness / Certification roles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct airworthiness approvals of Airbus products and product changes with the certifying Authority, and validation of these approvals by importing countries' Authorities.
• Manage a varied, multi-ATA and multi-program workload in line with Customer Services' needs while conforming to certification requirements.
• Ensure cross-team communication to maintain consistency in certification approaches.
• Consult with Certification Specialists to ensure appropriate solutions across diverse aircraft configurations.
• Perform airworthiness approvals under DOA privileges: MOD, SB approvals, RDAF approvals, ADD approvals.
