Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Charlotte is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle, load and unload materials, and deliver to commercial and residential sites with a world-class customer service experience.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clear 3-year MVR, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a high school diploma or GED. Lifting up to 80 lbs and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Load and unload materials onto flatbeds or boom trucks and deliver to job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas while prioritizing safety and service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or equipment.
• Lift heavy materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
