Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Hickory is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle and deliver building materials to commercial and residential sites with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires CDL, Class B license (Class A preferred), a clean MVR, and the ability to lift heavy materials up to 100 lbs. You will load/unload, follow DOT regulations, and maintain compliance records while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations (DOT).
• Ability to lift up to 80–100 lbs. and perform loading/unloading.
• Excellent customer service and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Safely load/unload materials onto flatbed or boom truck; deliver to job sites.
• Maintain records for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
