Colonial Materials, Inc. - Charlotte in North Carolina seeks an experienced delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, delivering freight while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will load and unload materials, maintain compliance with DOT rules, and provide professional service at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and teamwork in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license and a clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing safety.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for loading and unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
