Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer).
• Provide ridiculously good customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document anomalies.
• Follow delivery/pick-up instructions from dispatch.
• Unload cargo at customer destinations.
• Keep records of materials and products transported.
• Report incidents/accidents promptly.
• Maintain trip logs per regulations.
• Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer).

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer).
• Ability to safely and efficiently drive a stick shift truck.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English.

What You’ll Bring:

• CDL B Required. CDL A Preferred.
• Flatbed hauling experience preferred but not required.
• Valid medical card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year or more of prior local, same day delivery, truck driving experience.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk long distances for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, elements, noise, and fumes.
