Porter Pipe & Supply Company is seeking a Delivery Pro to join our Madison, WI team. You will safely operate trucks—including straight boom and semi-tractor trailers—and provide ridiculously good customer service on every trip.

The role requires CDL B (CDL A preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of local, same-day delivery experience. 50 lb lifts, daily logs, and warehouse assist are part of the job.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required; CDL A preferred.
• Experience with local, same-day delivery is valued.
• Able to operate various truck types and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate trucks (straight boom truck, semi-tractor trailer).
• Provide ridiculously good customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document anomalies.
• Follow delivery/pick-up instructions from dispatch.
• Unload cargo at customer destinations.
• Keep records of materials and products transported.
• Report incidents/accidents promptly.
• Maintain trip logs per regulations.
• Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
