Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a delivery preparation associate for 2nd shift (1:00-10:00pm) with mandatory weekend availability. You will assemble and inspect products to ensure quality before delivery, in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes safety, careful handling, and following detailed assembly instructions to ensure each item looks and works as intended for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• 6 months’ labor or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

• Work Smarter, Not Harder Safely use mechanical aids (flats, dollys, box cutters, power tools, etc.)
• Set the Stage Assemble product using hand tools and detailed instructions
• Make it Flawless Inspect your work to ensure the product looks and works like it was custom made to fit in the home

Pay Range: $18.58 - 23.13 Hourly

The scheduled hours for the role 2nd shift from 1:00-10:00pm requiring FULL WEEKEND AVAILABILITY!
