Socket.dev is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Atlanta to coordinate resources, manage scope and budget, and drive successful project delivery. You will engage stakeholders, plan meticulously, and oversee risks throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a solid technical background in software development and web technologies, with strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• Experience as a project administrator in the IT sector.
• Strong technical background with understanding of software and web technologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• PM certification (PMP/PRINCE II) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
