Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a versatile Work Management Specialist I/II to support Delivery Operations. The role involves handling work order execution in Maximo and ss9, reviewing SAP orders, and coordinating field teams.

You will ensure safety, reliability, and cost management while delivering exceptional customer service. Hybrid mobility allows remote and onsite work, with a requirement to live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility and report about 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required with basic work experience.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• For Level II, a High School diploma or 1–3 years of Customer Delivery experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintains excellent customer service to operations, management, and customers.
• Uses tools to communicate reliability details to external customers.
• Ensures availability during normal schedule and after-hours storm restoration.
• Takes ownership of customer issues until resolved and facilitates internal/external communication.
• Monitors reports to ensure process adherence and provides coaching feedback to supervision.
• Maintains knowledge of Engineering/Construction standards used in Delivery Operations.
• Audits work to ensure customers are billed accurately and timely.
• Prepares and assigns work orders to complete follow-up work with appropriate resources.
• Verifies costs, creates work orders, and processes invoices for applicable projects.
