Job summary

Staples in La Vergne, TN seeks a Delivery Operations Supervisor to lead our delivery team and ensure timely, complete orders. You will plan daily/weekly/monthly goals, work with senior management on efficiency and budget targets, and coach associates while driving safety and process improvements.

Responsibilities include using reports to drive performance, participating in hiring and training, and promoting an inclusive culture as part of Staples Supply Chain to serve customers effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of transportation experience.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving history acceptable to the company.
• DOT physical and drug screen as legally permitted.
• 6-month DOT medical card required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery Operations team to ensure on-time, complete deliveries.
• Plan strategies to meet daily, weekly, monthly goals.
• Collaborate with senior management on productivity, accuracy, and budget goals.
• Recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
• Involve in hiring, training, and coaching of associates.
• Use operational reports to evaluate performance and meet expectations.
• Uphold safety and foster our safety culture.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success in delivering to customers.
