Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to back up as a Delivery Driver (driving experience and valid credentials).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Experience scheduling freight and coordinating with carriers (preferred).
• Knowledge or experience with plumbing and heating supplies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise all designated delivery staff.
• Route sales orders to optimize efficiency and meet customer requests.
• Ensure orders are loaded, secured, and delivered on time.
• Verify content and labeling; note discrepancies.
• Oversee ship verification to confirm docked products.
• Ensure picks are completed, labeled and loaded accurately.
• Monitor staff productivity to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate systems and procedures to staff in a timely manner.
• Provide performance plans and feedback to Warehouse Manager.
• Assist in annual reviews for assigned staff.
• Monitor attendance and address issues per policy.
• Assist in hiring and development of staff.
• Communicate issues to other shift supervisors as needed.
• Monitor safe loading/unloading of trucks.
• Assist in training on equipment used.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager
