Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Portland, OR is seeking an Operations leader focused on Delivery. You will supervise delivery associates, ensure safety, and maintain logs compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations while managing labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily routing, reviewing performance against KPI targets, and communicating with Sales to resolve delivery opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Experience in food-service distribution preferred.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
• Experience developing driver bids preferred.
• XATA XRS experience preferred.
• Experience conducting road tests and driver observations preferred.
• Experience developing a safety culture preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages day to day activities and safety of delivery associates.
• Ensures delivery Associates compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies and logs are current.
• Manages labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget.
• Prepares weekly work schedules including extra work days and shifts.
• Ensures route adherence and safe, efficient customer service.
• Coordinates repairs with maintenance vendor as needed.
• Monitors routing activities to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Suggests efficiency ideas and cost reductions and implements routing changes.
• Communicates with the Customer/Sales Department to resolve delivery opportunities.
• Performs staff selection, development, discipline, and performance reviews.
