Job summary

ReddyIce is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor in Oklahoma City to lead and develop the delivery team, ensuring safe, efficient product distribution and alignment with customer needs. You will implement lean-inspired routing and scheduling practices, oversee compliance and training, and drive continuous improvement across the delivery network.

The role requires a CDL Class A, at least 5 years of driver supervision, and a proven ability to optimize routes while maintaining high safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years supervising professional drivers.
• Valid CDL A license with acceptable MVR.
• Experience in route sales, delivery and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, coach, and review all delivery employees including drivers, forklift drivers and dock clerks.
• Exercise safety precautions and assist with employee training.
• Prepare monthly staffing and equipment estimates.
• Maintain compliance documents and logs (Driver Qualification files, HOS logs, DVIRs).
• Investigate driver accidents and file proper paperwork.
• Establish efficient truck routing and schedule staff for coverage.
• Ensure special deliveries are made promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of product to customers.
• Monitor vehicle and equipment maintenance; approve and submit related invoices.
• Periodically check with customers on merchandising.
• Coordinate delivery for new accounts with management.
• Resolve delivery problems with customers.
• Check drivers in and ensure policy adherence and daily cash handling.
• Use route reports to develop cost-effective routes.
• Monitor ice returns and manage inventory control during departures and returns.
• Manage the dock and coordinate appointment times with distributors and loading times.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to Code of Business Ethics; uphold honesty and integrity.
