Job summary

Staples Supply Chain in Portland, OR is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor to lead the team in timely, complete order deliveries. You’ll plan staffing and strategies to hit daily, weekly, and monthly goals, working with senior management to improve productivity, accuracy, and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of transportation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history acceptable to the company.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card for the role.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds by hand.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery operations team to ensure timely and complete delivery of all orders.
• Plan strategies to meet the operation’s daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to achieve productivity, accuracy, and budget targets.
• Coach and train associates and use reports to evaluate performance.
• Ensure safe work practices and foster a safety culture.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success and drive customer outcomes.
