Job summary

Johnson Controls in Norman, OK is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform daily delivery tasks to customer facilities and job sites, and to handle warehouse duties such as loading/unloading, picking materials, receiving and stocking.

You will maintain safety and cleanliness, operate material handling equipment, use SAP for transactions, and coordinate with other departments to ensure material availability. A high school diploma and a forklift license are required, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold and maintain a JCI forklift license.
• Understand Johnson Controls manufacturing process and be detailed oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and OMS.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• General computer skills.
• SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily delivery tasks to customer facilities and job sites.
• Perform warehouse duties such as loading/unloading deliveries, picking materials for next day orders, receiving and stocking replenishment stock.
• Sweep and clean work area to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and communicate shortages with relevant departments.
• Maintain and operate material handling equipment; keep aisles clear.
• Use SAP for materials management transactions and research.
