Job summary

Deloitte’s Government and Public Services GPS practice, including the GPS HST Technology team, seeks a Delivery Management Engineer III to oversee implementation and operations management within client engagements.

You will guide workstreams, ensure quality deliverables, and build strong relationships with state and federal clients, while balancing strategic and hands-on responsibilities. Travel up to 0-20% is expected; a Bachelor’s degree is required; 7+ years of consulting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
• Current state public assistance system experience that supports eligibility and benefits determination and case management.
• Experience supporting State client(s) in one or more of the following areas: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and/or information management.
• Ability to travel 0 - 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals
• Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related, but not limited, to Systems Implementation, Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations and Software Application Development & Maintenance
• Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy
• Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
• Responsible for the client and team management including value creation activities
