Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. in Selbyville, DE is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day.

The role keeps the truck and equipment in good condition and supports daily operations. You will follow OSHA and DOT guidelines, perform pre-trip inspections, safely unload and deliver materials, secure loads, and navigate routes to the job site.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry drywall materials and joint compound.
• Demonstrates integrity and serves others in daily work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; build effective relationships.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT safety guidelines for personnel.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment and paperwork for order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the designated area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck and navigate routes to job sites.
