Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc in Williston, VT, is seeking a Delivery Helper to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare trucks for the following day; maintain truck and equipment.

You will safely unload products, secure cargo, and follow routes to the job site while abiding by OSHA and DOT guidelines. This role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 100 lbs during loading/unloading.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; able to lead, execute and delegate as needed.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT safety guidelines; perform pre-trip inspections and verify orders.
• Safely unload product, deliver to customer areas, secure cargo, and navigate routes to job sites.
