Job summary

VML, part of WPP, seeks a strategic Managing Director of Delivery to lead a large national CPG client program in the US. This executive role oversees the account operating model across Brand Experience, Commerce, Retail Activation, Experiential, and growth opportunities, balancing day-to-day rigor with transformation.

The MD will shape scalable delivery, champion accountability, and drive cross-functional collaboration among Client Leadership, Delivery, Strategy, Creative, and Analytics teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading large-scale agency, consulting, marketing, or transformation organizations.
• Experience managing complex, matrixed businesses exceeding $15M+ in annual revenue.
• Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep expertise in operational leadership, delivery management, organizational design, and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Delivery and Operations function, governance, and operating model.
• Oversee delivery across all brands and client units, ensuring programs are on time and on budget.
• Own workforce planning and talent deployment strategy; build a high-performing delivery organization.
• Drive profitability through scalable staffing models and disciplined delivery across capabilities.
