Job summary

Misfits Market is hiring a delivery driver to serve as the customer-facing liaison between fulfillment centers and customers. You will deliver boxes to the correct address within the designated time window, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition and with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include leading pre-shift meetings, overseeing load-out, training new drivers, performing quarterly observations, and executing deliveries while adhering to safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• 2 years of previous Delivery driving experience.
• Comfortable operating a delivery van in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all DOT and Misfits Market safety standards at all times.
• Lead team during pre-shift meetings and cover important safety topics.
• Lead load-out process ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• On-board new drivers and train to company standards.
• Conduct quarterly driver observations to ensure standards are met.
• Deliver customer orders directly to doorstep and verify delivery in routing app.
• Navigate varying weather conditions and hazards during shift.
• Lift and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, up to 50lbs each.
• Support Packaging Return Program by documenting customer recycling.
• Assist other drivers and overtime as needed.
