SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Director, the Delivery Lead role acts as the key adviser for ensuring business readiness through program setup and implementation of processes and execution of projects. This role will coordinate activities across internal and external integration points for client-specific projects. The Delivery Lead supports new business development and/or Operations by providing subject matter expertise from the perspective of feasibility and usage. Executes high-quality, integrated cross-functional plans for projects, applying best practices in development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects. The Delivery Lead will be a key client-facing contact and must be able to communicate effectively, oversee projections associated with new and existing service offerings, and lead process improvement activities within their aligned portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for ensuring business readiness when implementing new technology or business processes.
  • Plan, monitor, and manage projects from initiation through completion to ensure on-time delivery according to specifications and within budget.
  • Develop client-specific project plans, drive project delivery, meet key milestones, ensure accountability, and remove obstacles across multiple projects.
  • Secure appropriate internal and external resources for project execution.
  • Define business requirements in collaboration with operations for IT and DBI.
  • Monitor IT escalations and Production Support issues impacting business.
  • Oversee all User Acceptance Testing, including planning, execution, and sign-off.
  • Partner with operations and strategic account management to support client communications, provide updates on program roadmaps/IT pipelines, and support client meetings and escalations.
  • Assist in developing and improving tools and processes.
  • Mentor less experienced team members using broad and strategic experience.
  • Understand how project decisions impact key business metrics and enterprise strategy.
  • Communicate clearly and reliably with sponsors, teams, stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
  • Evaluate new or modified tools and processes for project fit.
  • Show flexibility and good judgment in changing approaches when needed.
  • Implement creative ideas and solutions to improve business.
  • Adhere to and analyze project policies, standards, governance, and metrics.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  • Ten or more years of relevant work experience, including project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; work experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Project Management certification or completion of a recognized curriculum is preferred.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management Methodologies; PMI preferred.
  • PMI PMP Certification highly desired.
  • Proficiency in PMIS systems like Clarity and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong skills in client communication, prioritization, and consensus building.
  • Ability to analyze target audiences and develop effective communication plans.
  • Proficiency in project management tools for scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for data analysis, presentation, and diagramming.

Additional Details:

Full-time position with a salary range of $98,200 - $151,360, reflecting national averages. Location-specific variations may apply.
