Job description

Delivery Lead / Project Manager (Part-Time)
Development Team

On behalf of our Client, Mobilunity is looking for a Delivery Lead / Project Manager to coordinate day-to-day software development activities and ensure predictable delivery.

Our client is an international technology company developing a B2B SaaS platform that combines data-driven insights, automation, and AI-powered capabilities to improve business decision-making and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with the CTO and the existing product and technical leadership to coordinate the development team, maintain visibility into ongoing work, and ensure that agreed priorities and commitments are delivered on time.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on delivery coordination, team accountability, and process improvement. The CTO remains responsible for technical decisions, architecture, and engineering direction.

The position is part-time, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities across development, QA, and other relevant team members.
  • Track task progress, deadlines, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Follow up with task owners to ensure agreed deliverables are completed on time.
  • Identify blockers, delays, and risks early, and coordinate their resolution or escalation.
  • Ensure execution remains aligned with agreed priorities, timelines, and team capacity.
  • Maintain clear visibility into ongoing tasks, upcoming activities, and delivery status.

Project Planning & Process Management

  • Organize and maintain structured task management processes using Scrum, Kanban, or other suitable approaches.
  • Ensure work is broken down into clear, manageable tasks with assigned owners and expected timelines.
  • Facilitate planning activities and coordinate priorities with product and technical leadership.
  • Monitor team capacity and help balance planned work against realistic delivery capabilities.
  • Establish consistent tracking, follow-up, and reporting practices to improve delivery predictability.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements.

Team Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the main point of coordination for daily operational and delivery activities.
  • Maintain effective communication across developers, QA engineers, and technical and product leads.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks, clarify responsibilities, and help remove obstacles.
  • Encourage accountability and ensure team members communicate progress and potential delays.
  • Challenge unrealistic expectations and escal…
  • Reduce the operational workload of the CTO and existing leadership by independently managing day-to-day delivery coordination.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Collect and consolidate progress updates from the team.
  • Prepare clear delivery status reports covering completed work, pending tasks, blockers, and risks.
  • Communicate delivery progress and potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Help align business priorities, delivery commitments, and available team capacity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or a similar role within software development.
  • Experience coordinating software development teams, including developers and QA engineers.
  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Strong skills in task planning, delivery tracking, deadline management, and dependency coordination.
  • Understanding of capacity planning, risk management, and blocker resolution.
  • Experience with project management and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage delivery processes independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to hold team members accountable for agreed commitments.
  • Excellent spoken and written English (C1 level).
  • Availability to work part-time, approximately 20 hours per week (2-4 hours per day).
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience coordinating distributed or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working directly with a CTO or Head of Engineering.
  • Experience with AI-powered products or data-intensive platforms.
  • Experience in fast-growing technology companies.
  • Experience improving delivery processes and team performance.
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Project Manager who can bring structure, clarity, and accountability to the team’s daily operations.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, following up on commitments, addressing delivery risks, and challenging unrealistic timelines when needed. You focus on enabling the team to deliver effectively rather than micromanaging its work.

Deep technical expertise and responsibility for architecture are not required, as these areas are covered by the CTO. The primary focus is on execution, coordination, and predictable delivery.
