Apply for the Delivery Lead role in Des Moines and help manage high-impact projects with strong leadership, coordination, and delivery excellence.

The Delivery Lead is a combination role of Project Manager and Business Analyst with the goal of successfully delivering technology or business solutions to We Write Code clients. This role ensures our projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and internal teams. Additionally, the Delivery Lead will serve as the bridge between business challenges and software solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and guide development teams through the software development lifecycle. To thrive in this nimble ecosystem, you know how to pragmatically leverage AI tools to supercharge your workflow—accelerating documentation, identifying blind spots in project scopes, and freeing up your time to focus on delivering.

03. THE WORK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• • Define scope, set timelines, allocate resources, and develop detailed execution plans.
• • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals.
• • Monitor costs, manage budgets, and optimize resource utilization.
• • Identify potential risks, resolve issues proactively, and maintain project health.
• • Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and facilitate decision-making.
• • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business needs, translate them into software requirements, and bridge communication between business units and software development teams.
• • Pragmatically utilize AI tools to expedite administrative and analytical tasks, such as generating initial drafts of user stories, synthesizing meeting transcripts, or modeling project risks.
• • Document functional specifications and user stories, support test planning, and lead

user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

• • Schedule and lead project meetings with stakeholders and internal team.

04. WHAT YOU NEED

WHAT YOU NEED.

• • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis in the software development domain.
• • Proven track record of creating detailed project plans, managing project budgets, and working with cross-functional teams.
• • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
• • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, AI-driven PM tools) into your daily workflow to optimize business analysis and project tracking.
• • Proficiency with Jira and Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Confluence or ClickUp.
• • Experience gathering requirements from a variety of stakeholders, writing requirements, and user stories.
• • Ability to manage competing priorities and strong communication skills.
• • Experience with client facing teams and not only internal projects.

05. LOCATION

LOCATION AND HOURS.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in Des Moines, Iowa working in the office a minimum of two days a week.
