Hollstadt Consulting is seeking a Delivery Lead to oversee agile delivery across multiple teams. The role is hybrid in Cottage Grove, MN (onsite 3x per week) for a 6-month engagement with a competitive W2 rate of $58.79–$70.55 per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.

The Delivery Lead will drive delivery excellence, facilitate ceremonies, manage the backlog, and collaborate with Stakeholders to ensure throughput and capacity are aligned with business objectives.

Job Description

Role: Delivery Lead

Location: Hybrid in Cottage Grove, MN (Onsite 3x week)

Duration: 6 months to start

Rate: $58.79-$70.55/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications

High-Level Summary of Role

• The Delivery Lead is a critical agile team leader and key partner to the Business Product Owner, responsible for ensuring consistent execution across multiple teams.
• This individual drives delivery excellence by enforcing agreed-upon ways of working, facilitating agile ceremonies, and holding all contributors , including internal teams (e.g., BPOs), accountable for throughput and capacity.
• The position requires an individual who demonstrates initiative and assertiveness to ensure that delivery objectives are achieved with both effectiveness and efficiency. The Delivery Lead must be able to act decisively without having all the answers, demonstrating comfort with uncertainty and the ability to navigate the team through ambiguity using sound judgment, adaptability, and a bias toward action.

Key Responsibilities

Product Delivery & Backlog Management

• Collaborate with the Business Product Owner to prioritize and refine the team backlog based on business value and strategy.
• Define sprint goals and delivery plans, including scope, milestones, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Agile Facilitation & Team Support

• Lead Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Promote Agile principles and continuous improvement across the team.
• Remove impediments and foster smooth collaboration.
• Uphold Scrum values and team dynamics.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
• Ensure transparency around sprint progress, backlog changes, and strategic shifts.
• Lead cross-functional planning and prioritization meetings to respond to market and customer needs.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

• Define and monitor quality standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Conduct regular quality reviews and implement control measures.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, including developing contingency plans.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support skill development and task completion.
• Share best practices and updates related to product releases and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in delivery or project management roles.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and environments.

Ideal Candidate

• Quickly builds rapport while holding teams accountable for delivery commitments.
• Experienced in product-centric environments; familiarity with data products is a strong plus.
