Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead delivery across client engagements in the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas. The role requires onsite presence up to five days per week and non-remote work.

You’ll apply agile practices, oversee migrations and modernization projects, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 with potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery of business or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and governance.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile) are a plus.

Target Level: Senior Consultant in both St. Louis, MO, and Kansas City, MO **This role is not eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the St. Louis and Kansas City metropolitan area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office up to 5 days a week.**

What You’ll Do

• Lead the delivery of business and technology projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and Slalom’s delivery standards.
• Apply agile methodologies to drive iterative progress, foster collaboration, and adapt quickly to evolving needs.
• Define project scope, timelines, and success metrics in partnership with clients and internal teams, with particular emphasis on enabling smooth migration efforts and transformation initiatives.
• Oversee project execution through effective resource coordination, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication, while guiding teams through agile ceremonies to ensure the successful delivery of migration and modernization projects.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques—such as generative AI for documentation, predictive analytics for risk and timeline forecasting, and automation for reporting—to accelerate delivery and enhance quality.
• Support business development through scoping, estimation, and proposal contributions, while also mentoring junior consultants and contributing to internal capability growth.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in solution ownership, product ownership, product management, and agile delivery, ideally within consulting or enterprise environments.
• Proven success in delivering business or technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and project governance.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery workflows and enhance team productivity.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Pragmatic Institute, Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for a Senior Consultant is $120,000 to $145,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
