Job summary

East Coast Metal Distributors seeks a dependable delivery driver to support branch operations by expediting customer orders and maintaining a tidy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include verifying items, unloading trucks, documenting inventory, and delivering products to customers with professionalism and courtesy. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be able to pass a DOT physical, and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Clean driving record with DOT requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• Be willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries and greet customers upon arrival.
• Verify items with initialing and dating; unload trucks when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe delivery vehicle (inside and out).
• Organize delivery schedules and assist in processing sales orders.
• Document arrival of incoming inventory and incorporate into branch inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and comply with safety standards.
