Job summary

East Coast Metal Distributors is seeking a reliable delivery driver to service customers on the East Coast. You will safely deliver products, load/unload, and provide courteous service while following company procedures.

You will operate mobile logistics apps, maintain logs, coordinate with branches, and assist in warehouse tasks. A clean driving record, ability to pass DOT and background checks, and willingness to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with limited violations and no suspensions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Able to pass a DOT physical examination requirements.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
• 21 years of age or older with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company vehicle to pickups and deliveries on time.
• Loads/unloads products and maintains organized vehicle.
• Provides exceptional customer service at delivery points.
• Operates mobile apps related to logistics and delivery operations.
• Completes daily driver logs and submits reports to management.
• Assists in processing sales orders and coordinating delivery schedules.
• Notifies managers of discrepancies, needed maintenance, or safety concerns.
• Represents East Coast Metal Distributors with clean, company-provided uniforms.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Branch/Warehouse Manager.
