Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking an operations supervisor to oversee delivery installations, warehouse and reconfiguration activities. You will lead on-site inspections, coordinate resources, and ensure timely, high-quality service for clients in the relocation and logistics sectors.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strict cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or five to seven years related experience and/or training in office moving, installation, and furniture planning.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents, and write reports and procedures.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for budgeting and cost control.
• Experience with project coordination and field inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site delivery installations and furniture reconfigurations.
• Assist with expanding product offerings and services.
• Manage operating expenses to preserve profit margins and financial performance.
• Participate in monthly financial reviews to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements across operations.
