Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery support associate to assist a delivery driver by unloading products, checking quality, and delivering to customer locations. You will rotate stock, verify product condition, and help with on-route deliveries in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes safe handling of equipment, pre-trip inspections, and clear communication with drivers and customers to resolve issues and shorts efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic.
• Know the product delivery schedule.
• Prefer High School or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Unload and check the quality products at a customer location, rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Drive to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules and perform a pre-trip inspection.
