A leading distribution company in Missouri is seeking a Delivery Helper responsible for delivering and merchandising products in assigned accounts. The role requires safe operation of the truck, proper product rotation, and merchandising according to company guidelines. Candidates should be punctual, able to assist drivers, and maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. The position also involves ensuring safe handling of products and participating in safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and manage clocking in/out.
• Ensure proper loading of the truck to prevent product damage.
• Rotate products within coolers, displays, and backrooms.
• Merchandise products according to established guidelines.
• Build and sign displays as directed by Salesperson(s).
• Handle empties and unsold products safely.
• Attend Safety and Drivers Meetings.
• Inspect vehicle according to DOT regulations.
• Assist driver with hand signals during maneuvers.
• Unloading assistance at each account.
• Be aware of code dates and pick up directed products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Always be aware of code dates and pick up all product you are directed to by the Salesperson(s).
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Delivery Helper is responsible for the delivery, storage and merchandising of company products in each assigned accounts. The Delivery Helper is also responsible for safe truck operation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Must report to work on time and clock in and out at appropriate times.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded at all times to prevent damage to the product.
• Ensure the product being delivered and that which is already in the account is properly rotated within the cooler, displays and backroom.
• All products within the retail accounts must be merchandised according to the guidelines established by the company.
• Build, merchandise and sign displays as directed by the Salesperson(s).
• Ensure that paper and permanent POS is used in each account in the proper manner and quantity.
• Safely handle all empties and unsold product to prevent damage.
• Attend all Safety and Drivers Meetings.
• Each morning prior to leaving the warehouse inspect your vehicle according to DOT regulations and adequate fluid levels.
• When Delivery Driver is backing or maneuvering in a tight situation exit from cab of truck to assist driver with hand signals.
• Ensure proper rotation is in effect in all your assigned accounts.
• Assist driver in unloading truck at each account.
• Always be aware of code dates and pick up all product you are directed to by the Salesperson(s).
• All other duties as assigned.
