Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver in Ardmore, OK to join our front-line team responsible for on-time delivery of pre-sold products to customer locations across servicing counties.

Responsibilities

• Check in with Delivery Supervisor daily upon arrival and follow any special instructions.
• Perform daily pre-trip DOT inspections and ensure vehicle paperwork is current.
• Leave warehouse on time and deliver required product to locations as specified by orders, safely and on schedule.
• When assigned a Delivery Driver Assistant, review tasks and supervise performance.
• Deliver merchandise and off-load items using company equipment to customers along a set route.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicle, rotate stock and displays per procedures, and dispose of trash properly.
• Collect payment for all delivered products per company policy.

Job Description

This position is accountable for the delivery of pre-sold products to customers’ locations throughoutservicing counties. This is a front-line role working directly with ourcustomers. Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating deliveryvehicles and equipment and to insure the accurate and timely delivery ofproduct. Additionally, Delivery Driver is responsible for all associatedEncompass transactions and the collection of payments and signatures. Theposition is responsible for complying with all company safety policies,practices and procedures.

Job Duties

• Check in with DeliverySupervisor daily upon arrival. Check for any special instructions for the day.
• Performs daily pre-trip DOTinspection of vehicle, follows DOT regulations and a post-trip DOT inspection.Insures proper vehicle registration and insurance documents as well as accidentkits are present in vehicle.
• Leave warehouse atappointed time and deliver required product to locations as specified by orderin a safe and timely fashion. Follow delivery schedule unless authorizeddeviations by Sales Manager or Delivery Manager/Supervisor.
• When assigned a DeliveryDriver Assistant, review the daily tasks with them and make sure they areperforming their daily tasks within the account as instructed. Notify DeliverySupervisor of any issues or needs.
• Deliver merchandise;off-load items using company provided equipment, to customers along apredetermined delivery route in a safe and efficient manner.
• Contribute to workenvironment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotespersonal growth.
• Maintain personalproductivity and quality standards.
• Follow systems andprocedures outlined in training by Delivery Manager and Delivery Supervisors.
• Swaps product per companyand supplier procedures as it relates to code dates.
• Complete all requireddocuments pertaining to delivery, pick up, and DOT regulations.
• At each account, check allproduct dates, rotate wells, windows, back stock and displays per company andsuppliers’ procedures as it relates to expiration dates. Handle swaps percompany procedures.
• Builds displays per AccountManger request.
• Make sure cooler & backstock are clean and organized. Clean up all trash at the account and dispose ofproperly.
• Collect payment for alldelivered products per company policy
