Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Construction Manager I to support contractor and owner’s representative activities across all phases of complex projects. You will help manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality while coordinating architects, engineers, and contractors.

This role requires travel across the United States and close collaboration with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a engineering/CM background, experience with Procore, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commissioning processes for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems in mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of industry trends, project management and construction procedures and best practices.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in constructing mission-critical environments.
• Understanding of the Method of Procedure (MOP) process and work notifications.
• Clear, concise communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore.
• Attention to detail in completing assignments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of contracts and assist with project and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to track and resolve issues.
• Assist in managing project progression from design through as-built.
• Monitor budget and schedule; ensure compliance with owner standards.
• Maintain risk logs and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
• Support field documentation, submittals, RFIs, and closeout deliverables.
• Communicate progress and updates to internal teams, contractors, and clients.
