Job summary

hyperexponential (hx) is building an AI-powered platform for pricing and underwriting in a global insurance market. The Delivery Engineering team blends engineers, actuaries, mathematicians and data scientists to tackle the most challenging problems with technical depth and market knowledge.

You’ll learn the hx modelling platform, ship production Python models, and work directly with customer actuarial teams and internal colleagues to push the art of the possible in insurance technology.

Qualifications

• Developed strong Python skills with production-grade experience.
• Applied predictive modelling or advanced analytics methods; insurance pricing experience is a bonus.
• Demonstrated a self-starter attitude in a high-trust environment.
• Passion for experimenting with new approaches and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hx modelling platform and ship models quickly.
• Build and maintain Python models for integration.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams, partner developers and internal colleagues to solve problems.
• Develop best-practice guidance for Python model building.
• Review and test models as part of QA processes.
• Support creation and improvement of training materials.
• Refine model development standards and processes.
