Domino's is looking for qualified delivery drivers to staff stores in your area. We offer growth opportunities, whether you are looking for a hobby, main job, or supplemental work.
Delivery Expert - Requirements and Duties
You must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards, and you must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings. Drivers may also assist with inside tasks such as food preparation and cleaning (see General Job Duties for All Team Members).
Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years and able to prove driving history. You must be an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy. Vehicle must be registered.
Pay
$16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage
General Job Duties for All Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
Orientation and on-the-job training provided.
Communication Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills / Abilities
- Perform basic arithmetic; may use a calculator.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal and written communication to process orders.
- Eye–hand coordination for precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area; navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees. May involve sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Details include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks; with specific examples provided.
- Standing: Most tasks are performed standing.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces between 36" and 48" tall.
- Sitting: Paperwork at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Deliveries may include items up to 50 pounds; cases lifted from floor to shelves up to 72".
- Carrying: Handling cans and ingredients; occasional heavy items up to ~30 pounds; dough trays and other materials.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays and dollies; occasional pulling.
- Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders for price changes or maintenance.

Qualifications
All drivers must meet these requirements to be eligible to drive:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a minimum of the last 2 years of licensed driving history in the United States
- Must provide documentation of at least 2 years of licensed driving history in the U.S.
- Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years. The suspension cannot be at the start of the 2 year period.
- No more than 1 violation and 1 at-fault accident in the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 violations and 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
- No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years.
- No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
- Moving citations count as violations.
- Seatbelt citations do not count as violations.
- Inoperable brake light citations do not count as violations.
- No distracted driving within the last 3 years.
- No serious violations in the past 5 years (examples include drugs/alcohol, leaving the scene, speeding, etc.).

Periodic Delivery Vehicle Inspection
Motor vehicles used for business must have the following items inspected at start of employment and periodically thereafter: headlights, turn signals, tires, mirrors, lights, brakes, wipers, doors, exhaust, horn, safety belt.
