Delivery Driver

Domino's Pizza® Delivery Driver position offers a dynamic role with opportunities for growth and training.

Domino's Delivery Drivers Must Be at Least 18 Years Old and Need:

• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills
• Valid Driver's license
• Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries
• Proof of car insurance
• Safe driving record meeting company standards
• Navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings

General Job Duties

• Operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily

Communication Skills

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person

Essential Functions/Skills

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
• Make correct monetary change
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements with speed
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Work Conditions

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some areas
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside

• Exposure to cornmeal dust
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

Physical Requirements including, but not limited to the following:

• Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: For short distances and short durations.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more; using a hand truck; cases may weigh up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (~3 lbs 7 oz) carried from workstation to storage; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 lbs carried from storage to front; trays of dough carried three at a time over short distances, weighing approximately 12 lbs per tray.
• Pushing: Move trays on dollies; stack of trays on a dolly approximately 24–30; requires force up to 7.5 lbs to push; trays may also be pulled.
• Climbing: Infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladder for maintenance.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at waist necessary at pizza assembly station; duration ~30–45 sec at a time, repeated; also at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously up, down and forward.
• Hand Tasks: Eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; shaping dough requires frequent and forceful forearm and wrist use.
