Job summary

Lezzer Lumber in Valencia, PA is seeking a Yard Associate - Delivery Driver to deliver customer orders and freight using location delivery vehicles, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and courteous service.

You will load and unload freight, operate multiple vehicle types, complete delivery invoices, and support yard upkeep while ensuring excellent customer interactions at the job site.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license with medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
• Two to four years’ experience in merchandise delivery and customer service preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and perform basic vehicle checks.
• Demonstrates superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders using location delivery vehicles with safe practices.
• Loads and unloads delivery freight and returns paperwork properly.
• Operates delivery vehicles (flatbeds, pickups, box trucks) and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Provides courteous service to customers and representatives at job sites.
• Keeps yard orderly and reports any safety issues to Dispatch/Manager.
• Completes daily driver and vehicle documentation and basic maintenance checks.
