Job summary

Mead Lumber Company in Lexington, NE is seeking a delivery driver to transport and unload merchandise at customer jobsites. You will load and unload trucks, stock the yard, and help maintain a clean, organized operation.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to operate a forklift and drive a manual transmission. You must be physically able to lift 75 pounds and be self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• CDL is a plus.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Physical strength to lift and carry 75 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

• Learn Mead Lumber products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
• Load trucks according to the sales invoice.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer’s satisfaction and on time.
• Maintain inspection of each vehicle you drive for safe driving.
• Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo.
• Listen and work with customers to solve needs.
