Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence required.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving history.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle (GVWR 10,001 lbs or greater) in last 36 months.
• Strong reading, writing, basic calculations, data entry, reasoning and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with a team in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to designated routes and ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service by prompt and courteous deliveries.
• Verify that loaded materials match Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and secure for transport.
• Unload materials at delivery locations in an orderly fashion and confirm accuracy.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections for maintenance and safety.
• Handle warehouse duties including receiving, storing, shipping, and preparing products for delivery.
